Info that we collect.

We keep track of the resolutions you've seen, saved and skipped (so, for example, you don't get shown the same resolutions twice), your country of origin (so that we can do things like auto-translate the page for you and keep track of where resolutions are coming from) and also store any resolutions that you submit.

How we use your email address.

We are committed to keeping your mailbox clutter free, and we'll only email you if you want us to. Here are the times when we'll email you:
1. You can ask us to email you your full list of saved and added resolutions. We'll only do this if you explicitely tell us to, and it will be a one time mailing.

2. If you sign up for our Resolution-a-Day newsletter, we'll email you a fun new years resolution every morning. This is a great way to get your year started off right and you can cancel it at any time.

3. If you sign up for a free account, we'll email you important information about your account and our services. This includes information about cool promotions or contests we have going on that you're eligible for, and you're able to cancel at any time.

Your IP address.

We have to keep track of your IP address and use a technology called "cookies" in order to make NewYearsResolutions.com as easy-to-use as it is. We don't share or sell this information with any third-party and this info is used solely to improve and customize your experience on our site.

Your resolutions.

By submitting your resolutions to us, you give us permission to publish them on our site and use them for promotion purposes. But don't worry, your resolutions will always be displayed anonymously. Remember, do not submit resolutions that contain hateful or threatening speech or anything illegal! If we're contacted by the cops or legal authorities, we have no choice but to comply with any requests they might have!
